1)型砂工藝試樣濕強度法。膨潤土能使砂型具有強度，因此，檢測濕型砂試樣濕態抗壓強度成為判斷膨潤土濕態粘結力的最直接方法。 2)膨潤土的吸藍量法。膨潤土的純度(即蒙脫石含量)與其粘結能力有極為密切的關係，一般情況下，膨潤土的純度越高，其粘結力也越大。在專門的研究單位中可以用X射線衍射等方法比較準確地測定出膨潤土中蒙脫石含量。然而這不但需要特殊的儀器設備，而且也要專門的檢測技術。在精密鑄造廠的型砂實驗室中可以采用測定膨潤土的吸藍量的辦法大體推算出其純度。 用吸藍量可以檢驗膨潤土的純淨程度，也可以用來檢驗型砂中有效膨潤土含量。其測定方法分有比色法和滴定法兩種。比色法的原理是稱取一定質量的試樣與過量的亞甲基藍溶液混合，使其充分吸附，然後用比色計測出殘餘液中剩餘亞甲基藍量，即可計算出試樣的吸藍量。此法由於操作較複雜，還需要使用比色計等儀器，目前使用者不多。滴定法不需要任何特殊儀器設備，操作又較簡單，更適合精密鑄造廠的型砂實驗室使用。 1) the wet strength method of molding sand process sample. The purity of bentonite can be tested by the amount of blue absorption, and the content of effective bentonite in moulding sand can also be tested. There are two kinds of determination methods: colorimetry and titration. The principle of colorimetric method is that the sample which is called a certain mass is mixed with the excess methylene blue solution to make it fully adsorbed. Then the amount of residual methylene blue in the residual liquid is measured by a colorimeter, and the amount of the sample can be calculated. Because of its complicated operation, it needs to use colorimeter and other instruments. The titration method does not require any special equipment, and is easy to operate. It is more suitable for use in foundry laboratories in Precision Foundry.
